I am an Anaesthetic Specialty Registrar from London, currently taking time Out-of-Programme for Research (OOPR) with the National Institute of Academic Anaesthesia Health Services Research Centre (NIAA HSRC). My research project is the Epidemiology of Critical Care provision after Surgery (EpiCCS), it has been designated the 2nd Sprint National Anaesthesia Project (SNAP-2). I am registered for an MPhil/PhD at the Department of Applied Health Research (DAHR), UCL.
I am a 2017 Fellow of the Software Sustainability Institute, a national facility for cultivating and improving research software to support world-class research. I contribute to the Data Science for Docs course, which aims to teach medical professionals basic concepts, skills, and tools for working more effectively with data.
My research interests include anaesthesia, perioperative medicine, reproducible science and statistical computing & mapping with R & QGIS.
